Dear Father,
It would be ungracious of me to let 2005 pass by without
a little word of appreciation for our MSC priests, nuns
and people for your readiness to share your riches with
the rest of the Church. The 40 years after Vatican II
have made you a rich treasury of spirituality, which you
generously share with the rest of us in your newsletters,
calendars etc. So few lay peple have the opportunity to
make a retreat or read a spiritual book. This lack is
supplied, in some (and always gentle) manner in your
correspondence. The 1.50 calendar price teaches us,
too, to be ‘poor in spirit’. Our laity are fine people —
‘ brother, sister and . . . mother’of Jesus as Divine Truth
described them. I believe they hunger for true and
simple spirituality that they can relate to everyday life. I
always find something to copy or cut out of your letters.
Bless you. |

Thank you so much for our lovely gift, being your ‘Living Water Calendar 2006’. I appreciate the gift
muchly! And feel sure that I must congratulate you not
only for the so-lovely calendar, but also for its ‘not-forprofit ’ publication. I can assure you that this mode of
publication is absolutely wonderful in this day and age,
when and where money seems, and is, unfortunately, the
be-all and end-all of life! And so I shall really look
forward to reading your free gift in 2006! And ,consequently, will send you a donation in the New Year.May both your Christmas and New Year be happy and
holy ones. |

Firstly thank you for your encouraging letter. Fr Paddy
Moloney ’s poem has been read and enjoyed by many
here .
Secondly, please accept the enclosed towards stamps
for the missions. Our Parish Priest has been saving
stamps for me to forward on.
My husband and I continue praying for your order. . .
for vocations and for the well-being of all. The beautiful
Prayer Card of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.“She is the
hope of the hopeless” has been claimed by me! I will
pass it on when I feel I can to a lady who has recently
become a catholic in our Parish.
Father, once again, many thanks. |

Dear Fr Meaney
Prayerful greetings from Namibia Poor Clare Monastery!
It is with deep gratitude that we write to you, Father.
We would like to thank you quickly through this form
of communication (e-mail). Our problem of water
touched your heart, and ever since you heard about us,
and saw our place, you have been concerned for us. We
are pleased to let you know that theMSC Sisters,
through Sr Bertha and Sr Marie, have bought us three big
tanks of 5000 gallon capacity, which with good rains,
will be a big blessing for us! Father, we shall report how
everything will go, and share with you our news. Thank
you very much!
You were in our Rosary Prayer today, and may we
assure you that we keep you in others, as a small token
of our thanks. We also count on yours.
